About Morris, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Morris is a charming town in Northeastern Illinois, not far from Chicago and Aurora. With 14,000 residents, it is a small town but the largest in its county.  While it is quiet and family-oriented, its proximity to larger cities makes it convenient. The town’s charming downtown area is probably its largest attraction. The seasonal weather in the area makes it a lovely place to raise a family.  Wear snowsuits in December and bikinis in August!

Warm weather activities in this area are plentiful and easy to find. Nearby Plainfield is the oldest community in the whole of Will County. There, you can visit historical sites like Plainfield House or The Standard Oil Gasoline Station. If you visit in the warm spring or summer months then you will certainly want to stroll the downtown area. It is full of shops, restaurants and other points of interest. It was specifically built and designed to accommodate pedestrian traffic. If a historic downtown experience is on your mind, however, you won’t even have to leave town.  Morris Commercial Historic District will provide that for you.  In addition to Morris and Plainfield, you can also visit the historical sites in downtown Lockport.

What to do if it is cold? There is plenty of fun to be had in the comfort of the heated indoors!  Aurora is not far from Morris and is the second largest city in the state. In the winter months, you may be interested in indoor attractions such as the Aurora Historical Society, SciTech Interactive Science Museum or the Aurora Regional Fire Museum.  OR, if you are more of a movie buff than a history buff, go eat at the White Castle where “Wayne’s World” was filmed. Now, that is something to write home about! In addition, Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet is worth a visit.  Scenes from “Stir of Echoes” were filmed there.
